Goldfield Hills is a mountain range in Esmeralda County, Nevada, in the Great Basin, just south of the mining district and town of Goldfield. It forms part of the stark desert landscape of central Nevada’s basin-and-range country and is closely associated with Goldfield and its historic mining area. Its importance is chiefly geographical, as rugged terrain that helps define the setting around the town and surrounding district.
