Erwinna Covered Bridge spans Swamp Creek in Erwinna, Pennsylvania, and is a small historic wooden lattice-truss bridge recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. At fifty-six feet long and fifteen feet wide, it is Bucks County’s shortest covered bridge. Its construction date remains uncertain, with one source giving 1871 and county records giving 1832, adding to its local identity. The bridge has long remained a visible part of the community, sometimes decorated in winter by the Church of Tinicum. In recent years it has also suffered repeated damage from truck strikes and vandalism, requiring repairs and closures.
