Built in 1901, this wood frame vernacular style commercial building is one of the best surviving examples of an early 20th century commercial building in south Florida. In later years, the second story served as the Parks family home. The store evolved into a hardware store and then a feed store, remaining in operation until the City of Stuart purchased it in 1988. The historic building now serves as a local history museum operated by Stuart Heritage, Inc.
