Mount Ingalls rises 8,376 feet in California’s northern Sierra Nevada and stands as the highest point in both Plumas County and Plumas National Forest. Its elevation means that most precipitation there falls as snow. Prominent within the northern Sierra, it is an important summit regionally and especially notable as the county high point.
