In September 2010, a 30-foot stainless steel cross was removed from a 22-acre hospital campus in South Bend and moved from the roofline of the 1958 Addition to a new location on the Mishawaka Campus. Other items were also removed and installed into the wall, including a 1909 date stone from the Mishawaka 4th St. Building, a 1942 cornerstone from the Angela Building, and a 1956 cornerstone from the Marian Hill Building.
