Nebraska Tailwaters Recreation Area is a public recreation site on the south bank of the Missouri River in northeastern Nebraska, just below Gavins Point Dam. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as part of the dam and river corridor, it is centered on river access and includes a boat launch, fishing pier, shoreline fishing and viewing areas, and a campground. The campground has 42 campsites, with 31 for RVs and 11 for tents only. The area is open year-round, while camping is available seasonally from May through October.
