Schicker Mound is a 5-foot-tall platform mound measuring 115 by 115 feet at the base, though its age is unknown. Before a house was constructed on top in the 1920s, the mound stood 12 feet tall. The nearby LaSalle Street Mound, located only 300 feet due west, may have been built about the same time by the same people.
