The Oregon County Veterans Memorial is dedicated to all Oregon County veterans in honor and memory of the men and women in the Armed Forces who rendered service to the country during wartime, peacetime, at home, and overseas, with a call never to forget those who gave their lives for this nation under God. It was dedicated on November 11, 1997, by Oregon County Memorial VFW Post 1014 and Ladies Auxiliary, under the words, “Honor the dead by serving the living.”
