A hospital was erected by public subscription to keep alive the honored and prayerful memory of those from Tipton County who served in World Wars I and II, with a tablet presented by Charles Sturdevant Post No. 46 American Legion, Sharpsville Post No. 443 American Legion, Wisehart and Boyer Post No. 219 American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1129, and Tipton County Chapter No. 56 Disabled American Veterans in 1950.
