Jose Gonzalo, a 1964 MCA graduate and MCA sports historian, served for more than 50 years as MCA sports statistician and attended more than 600 consecutive MCA football games beginning in 1966. He was an MCA School Board member, one of the original founders of the Ed Romance Sports Hall of Fame, one of the original founders of the Red Tornado Breakfast/Supper Club, and was inducted into the Ed Romance Chapter of the PA Sports Hall of Fame in 2005. He was also the original president of the Mount Carmel Area Education Foundation and organized the Weight Room All State Athletic Picture Recognition.
