Sigel American Legion Post 1134 honors those who gave all with prayers for eternal rest, remembers those missing in action with hope, honors those wounded in action, rejoices in the freedom of prisoners of war, and dedicates eternal gratitude to those who returned home. It also includes the words of “Taps,” invoking the close of day, fading light, restful safety, thanks and praise, and the nearness of God beneath the sun, stars, and sky.
