Miller’s Corner

Miller's Corner was created when State Highway 31-C bypassed downtown Hesperia. The corner took its name from an auto mechanic named Miller, who opened a garage there in 1923. In 1930, a large national airport was built immediately south of the garage, where fledgling airline pilots flew for passenger service. Soon after World War II, all signs of the prior activity were removed.
