Rostraver Township honors the men and women who served in the United States Military Forces in the cause of freedom at home and around the world in a constant vigil from 1776 to the present day of dedication, and remembers in honored glory those who died to keep us free, including Civil War soldiers John Beaumont, Levi Crouch, L Cunningham, John Dickinson, and James B Haley; World War I servicemen Thomas Bainbridge, Fremont Gilmer, Charles Grimme, Mylo Hixenbaugh, Robert Johnson, Thomas Lambie, Oliver Naylor, James R Overand, Pasquale Elia DSC, Fred Pearce, Max Phillip, and George Young; World War II servicemen David Breakwell, William Balog, Alex Beregi Jr, Silvio DeZolt, James Gardner, Playford Graham, Peter Greyno, Robert Hamilton, Herbert Konecheck, Walter C Hixson, Daniel W Kohley, John Lohigh, Mike Lohigh, Glen Lowry, Jack Lowry, Steve Malaga, Nick Pehote, Robert E Riskey, Angelo Sismondo, Andrew Smercik, Lewis R Tekavec, Edward Wilson, Casper Yex, and Paul Yex; Korea servicemen James Erdos and Earl M LaSalle; and Vietnam servicemen John Dalolo Jr, Donald Fawcett, and John Staff.
