Barns stand as a testament to rural foundations and to an almost forgotten way of life, representing a time when people led a simpler, more provincial lifestyle. This barn was designed and built by Shelley High School agriculture classes and community volunteers. It is constructed from wood salvaged by Cannon Structures that once formed part of the railway spanning the Great Salt Lake. The barn is used to teach animal care classes, provide facilities for 4-H groups, and offer overnight boarding facilities for visitors to the RV park.
