Weir Farm was the home and studio of J. Alden Weir, America's most beloved Impressionist, and generations of world-class artists walked its more than 60 acres of woods, fields, and waterways. Weir called his home the "Great Good Place," and the farm stands as a national legacy to American Impressionism, the creative spirit, and historic preservation. Its grounds are open all year, with each season offering a distinct experience, from winter temperatures averaging 20 F to 40 F with possible storms and colder weather, to spring temperatures averaging 30 F to 70 F with common rain, to summer temperatures averaging 60 F to 85 F with high humidity in July and August, and to fall temperatures averaging 35 F to 75 F, when foliage season runs from mid-September to mid-to-late October.
