Vilhelm Moberg Park was dedicated to the memory and legacy of Vilhelm Moberg and the Swedish heritage of the Chisago Lakes Area during the visit of Their Royal Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden to Chisago City on September 13, 1996.
