This property was owned by Warren Schiller, co-founder of Bayfield. In 1898, it was leased to F. M. Anderson, who built a restaurant on it. A photograph from the 1910s shows a false-front wood frame building with clapboard siding on the north façade, vertical wood siding on the remaining sides, and a wood shingle roof. A covered entry supported by four wood poles was later added to the north side.
