This memorial honors all men and women who served the country and especially remembers the fallen: Fred Federschuk of World War I; Arnold Rahja, Chester Salmela, George M. Hokkanen, Walfred Sako, Andrew Korhonen, John Repo, Gerald L. Pirkl, Heino Nisula, and John Mustonen of World War II; and Henry Roos and Walter Wuotila of Korea. It was donated by the Floodwood Volunteer Fire Department, the community, and family members.
