Construction of the 1st Ward Building in Pocatello at Garfield and Center Street began in 1903, and it was dedicated in 1909. The building, designed by architect William Allen of Kaysville, Utah, cost $17,000, measured 40 feet by 80 feet, and was razed in 1962.
