Fort Hill Site is dedicated to the past, present, and future as open space. The town was founded in 1786, and the site was acquired in 1973. It was erected in 1976 by concerned private citizens and Gorham civic groups. Harry Fancis raised this flag for 27 years, from 7/1/44 to 9/18/18. June and Vaughn Sargent also proudly raised this flag.
