Whitefish Lake State Park is a 10-acre public recreation area on the shore of Whitefish Lake, about two miles northwest of Whitefish, Montana, near U.S. Highway 93. Though small, it provides convenient access to the lake and serves as a compact base for outdoor recreation. Visitors can boat, swim, fish, and camp in tents or RVs. In 2016, hike-in and bike-in campsites were added, broadening its appeal beyond motorists and accommodating visitors arriving under their own power. It remains a modest lakeside state park centered on easy water access and overnight camping.
