Candler County honored the brave men of the county who paid the supreme sacrifice in defense of their country, with an honor roll of local dead from World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Nicaraguan Conflict, and the memorial was donated by the citizens of Candler County on Memorial Day 1987.
