Cahaba River Wildlife Management Area is a protected public landscape near West Blocton in Bibb and Shelby counties, operated by the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. It is especially important for containing a long stretch of the free-flowing Cahaba River within its boundaries. The area supports both recreation and conservation, with public use including hunting for deer, turkey, squirrel, and rabbit, as well as fishing, biking, hiking, and wildlife photography.
