Grapevine Peak is the highest summit of Nevada’s Grapevine Mountains, rising within Death Valley National Park in Nye County as one of the range’s defining high points. Beyond being the tallest point in its mountain range, it is also notable for its prominence, ranking fourth in topographic prominence within Nye County and seventeenth in Nevada. Those distinctions make it an important geographic landmark in the surrounding desert landscape and a major high point within the park.
