Woodchuck Hill
Nature
Woodchuck Hill is a mountain in Jefferson, Schoharie County, New York, northwest of South Gilboa and west-southwest of Mount Jefferson. Its significance lies in its geography: the headwaters of the West Branch Delaware River rise on its southeastern flank, between Woodchuck Hill and Mine Hill. As a result, the mountain forms part of the upland terrain from which the river begins, linking it to the broader watershed of the Delaware.
