About a mile south lay the burial site of Mrs. Mary Hayes Willis Gloster, founder of Immanuel, the first Episcopal church to be consecrated in West Tennessee, who was buried there in 1854; her daughter Elizabeth Willis Gloster Anderson, buried in 1873; her son-in-law John Anderson, buried in 1848; John's brother George, buried in 1844; her son Aurthur Brehon Gloster, buried in 1876; Aurthur's wife Mary Hayes Willis Gloster, buried in 1877; and numerous children who died young. No stones remain.
