The George and Helen Hayden House retains original features including wooden interior shutters, a faux marble fireplace, and all original interior doors and woodwork. George Hayden was a Civil War veteran who returned to Medina to become an attorney and eventually a judge. Helen Hayden volunteered for the Ladies Cemetery Improvement Association.
