Presque Isle Harbor Breakwater Light stands at the offshore end of the breakwater protecting Presque Isle Harbor in Marquette, Michigan, marking the harbor works that extend into Lake Superior. The breakwater was built between 1897 and 1902 and later enlarged beginning in 1935 by dredging and extending it farther into the lake. Plans for an automated light followed in 1938, the harbor project was completed in 1939, and the lighthouse was finished in 1941. About 55 feet tall, it is notable for its uncommon Streamline Moderne design. Still active for navigation, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.
