Corporal Kenneth C. Seamans of Factoryville, Pennsylvania, was lost after bailing out of his stricken Martin B-10B bomber fifteen miles northwest of Hill City, Kansas, during a training flight from Lowry Field in Denver, Colorado, to Chanute Field in Rantoul, Illinois, on December 18, 1939. He was associated with the United States Army Air Corps Technical Training School at Lowry Field in Denver, Colorado, and the 21 Air Base Squadron.
