Henry Baldwin, who lived from 1753 to 1793, was the owner of Rising Sun Farm, part of Howard's First Choice. He served in the Maryland Line from 1777 to 1783 and was successively promoted from Sergeant to Lieutenant. He was an original member of the Society of the Cincinnati.
