Faith
Arndahl Lutheran Church was established by early settlers in 1868. Its first service was held in the home of Ole Larson in Acton and was conducted by Rev. T. H. Dahl. The church's name came from Rev. Dahl and Arnt Hanson, the first child born in Danielson Township. At a meeting in January 1871, it was officially named "The Arndahl Norwegian Danish Church," and $170.00 was pledged toward building a church. The first service in the completed church was held in November 1874. Music was always important there, and it became known as "the singing church." Nineteen pastors served the congregation faithfully. On November 26th, 1990, the church was destroyed by fire, but it remained central to the community's memories, faith, and spiritual life.
