This World War I memorial was made possible by the untiring efforts of the J.F. Trumbull, Woman's Relief Corps No. 34 and was dedicated on Nov. 11, 1930 by James W. Harvey Post No. 58 of the American Legion. It honors a long roll of local men and women associated with the war, and it marks Charles E. Bitgood, Paul Dollbaum, Edward C. Gilmore, and James W. Harvey as having died in service.
