The OC&E Woods Line State Trail is a 105-mile route in southern Oregon that follows the former Oregon, California and Eastern and Weyerhaeuser railroad corridor from Klamath Falls to Thompson Reservoir. Begun in 1917 as the Klamath Municipal Railway to open timber resources, the line reached operation in 1923, was extended to Bly in 1927, and later served heavy wood-products traffic before decline in the 1980s. After the last logging train arrived in 1990, the corridor was deeded to Oregon Parks and Recreation in 1992 and converted into a non-motorized trail that preserves railroad features while serving recreation, travel, and links among Klamath Falls area communities.
