Eldon Hazlet State Recreation Area is a protected recreation area on Carlyle Lake in Illinois, covering about 3,000 acres in Clinton County as part of the state park system. Centered on outdoor use on and beside the lake, it serves as one of the public access points to the reservoir. Its importance comes from preserving a large stretch of lakeside land for recreation in southern Illinois.
