This building, erected in 1872 and one of the oldest in town, served Pioche in Friendship, Love and Truth for more than 100 years as a historic lodge hall. Pioche Lodge #23 was founded in 1872, Mt. Vernon Encampment #8 in 1875, and Miriam Rebekah Lodge #29 in 1909. The Oddfellows began meeting in the building in 1876 during a mining boom, and it has been used continuously ever since.
