For over one hundred years, firefighters in the community served to protect it, from the era of horse-drawn pumpers to later training and water rescue, including members of Williamson Fire Co. No. 1 circa 1925 and the Pultneyville Fire Co. No. 15 Water Rescue WR-2. The tribute is dedicated to all firefighters past and present who put their lives on the line to protect the community.
