A United States two hundredth anniversary time capsule buried in 1976 contains histories of families, places, and businesses of Harrison County and is to be opened in fifty years on July 4, 2026. Harrison County's one hundred seventy-fifth anniversary history capsule was buried in August, 1969, to be opened in August 2069. Both the 1969 and 1976 capsules were made by Ladish Co., Cynthiana, Ky.
