The citizens of Dawson and Lower Tyrone Township honored the men and women who served their country during the Korean, Vietnam, and Cold War eras from 1945 to 1991, including John R. Beeson, Martini E. French, Robert C. Sigwalt, Ralph Jr. Swift, Robert Carl Guth, and R. Douglas Kelley, and also recognized veterans whose names were not available at the time of construction.
