They served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Naval Reserve, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy, and included Jamie Jay Lanier, Litchfield Patterson Huie, Alex Ray Houston, Lawrence Edward Philyaw, Lane Kornegay Hargrove, Dennis Earl Basden, George Patrick "Pat" Power, William Irvin "Guy" Turner Jr., Charles Grey Costin, Clarence Leon "Boone" McNeill, Dallas Ervin Mckinney, Terry Kay Maready, Paul Edwin Gore, Robert Allen Brown, Orland Thomas Lloyd, Allen Lewis Boney, Arthur Best, Herbert John Artis, and Joseph Nelson Hargrove, who was listed as missing in action.
