Old Miakka Preserve is a 129.45-acre protected area north of Old Miakka in Sarasota County, Florida, with about 4 miles of hiking trails. Sarasota County acquired the land in August 2006 through its Environmentally Sensitive Lands Protection Program. It remains part of the county’s network of protected natural areas, preserving a modest but accessible landscape for conservation and public use.
