Henrys Lake State Park is a 585-acre public recreation area on the south shore of Henrys Lake in eastern Idaho, near Goose Bay and the Henrys Lake Outlet about 13 miles north of Island Park. The park offers lakeside access and simple outdoor facilities including hiking trails, a boat ramp, campgrounds, and cabins. Its location on the lake makes it a popular base for fishing, wildlife watching, and general recreation. The lake and its marshy shoreline support cutthroat trout and cutbow, while moose, pronghorn, swans, pelicans, other waterfowl, and sandhill cranes are among the wildlife found around the park’s wetlands.
