1992 The New York State Convention of Universalists

The New York State Convention of Universalists donated the land and buildings on this site to the Town of Concord for use as a public library or for other municipal purposes benefiting its citizens. From 1897 to 1924, the site was home to the First Universalist Parish of Springville. At the time of the donation, the town officials were Supervisor Ronald A. Wendel; Councilman Robert E. Kaufmann, Joyce R. Smith, James Krezmien, and Karl R. Lux; Town Attorney Dale J. Manchester; and Town Clerk Mary E. Bolt.
