The Cove is a historic plantation property near Harrisburg in Halifax County, Virginia, centered on a main house built about 1773. Beyond the 1½-story vernacular frame dwelling, the site preserves a broad plantation landscape with secondary dwellings, barns, chimneys, an ice house, a shed, a log house, and archaeological remains. Among these are two log tobacco barns, one later converted into a residence, and what are believed to be at least two slave quarters. Together, these surviving buildings, ruins, and sites form an important record of plantation life and labor in southern Virginia. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
