Pacific County Courthouse was entered in the National Register of Historic Places on July 20, 1977, by the U.S. Department of the Interior under the provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966. Recognized by the Washington State Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and the Washington State Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, the property was judged to possess exceptional value in illustrating American history and culture.
