The Piney Buttes are a group of flat-topped hills in eastern Montana, northeast of Jordan. Although often shown as a mountain range, they are actually a butte formation. Rising to an elevation of 2,651 feet, they stand apart from the surrounding landscape as a distinct and recognizable landform.
