West Hill is the oldest house in Ruston. Built in Vienna in 1876, it was dismantled and moved to Ruston in 1884. It is a Victorian cottage of cypress construction. The first child in Ruston was born here. It was also known as the old Dr. Harper home and the A. C. Morris house.
