Old Black Top Road is a 1.6-mile unpaved hiking and biking route leading to the Taylor Farm area and several intersecting trails. In the early 1900s, Jennie (Davis) and Robert Taylor raised wheat, oats, corn, and other vegetables on their 110-acre farm for their family and to sell in their store. The federal government purchased the farm in 1942 and razed the buildings. Wisteria vines and blackberry bushes once cloaked the foundations of the farmhouse.
