Coldwater Lake State Park is a four hundred-acre public recreation area on the south shore of Coldwater Lake, about ten miles south of Coldwater in Branch County, Michigan. Created in 1988 with Natural Resources Trust Funds money, it has remained largely natural instead of being built up for intensive day use. Access is limited to two small unpaved parking areas that allow walk-in entry, mainly for hunters and fishermen. A general management plan adopted in 2015 by the Michigan State Parks Advisory Committee continued its role as a lightly developed outdoor recreation area.
