Thompson's Bromine and Arsenic Springs, also called Healing Springs, is a historic mineral spring resort near Crumpler, North Carolina, built around waters promoted for their healing qualities. The Bromine-Arsenic Springs Hotel, erected in 1887, made the site a resort destination, and later buildings trace its development, including an octagonal spring house, bath house, cabin buildings, and cabins from about 1900 through about 1930. After the hotel burned in 1962, its location became an archaeological site. The surviving structures and spring preserve the character of the old resort, and the district gained national historic recognition in 1976.
