King Pavilion is named in honor of Harborcreek Township's fallen son Cpl. Jarrid King of the 693rd Sapper Company, who died in service to his country on January 12, 2011, in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan. It was dedicated on Memorial Day 2011 by his family, friends, and the citizens of Harborcreek Township. "Essayons," French for "We try," is included with the dedication.
